A copyright is a unique right issued to the author or an artist so that their work is not copied and used under someone else’s name. For obtaining the copyright registration, following steps should be taken:

• File an application with all the details in the format of form IV and send it the registrar.  the applicant also  needs to pay a small fees.
• The application has to be signed by the applicant and the advocate in hose favor the POA is executed.
• Then, the registrar issues a Dairy no. after that there is a mandatory waiting time period of 30 days for countering any objection.
• When there is no objection, then the application is investigated and registration is complete.
